Job Summary:

Seeking for a Certification & Compliance Project Specialist to support and drive the execution of the Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) certification strategy. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with evolving CMS standards and maintaining program integrity. The Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve successful MMIS/CMS Certification, protect federal funding, and strengthen statewide Medicaid systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support project teams through certification tasks.
• Lead certification workstream meetings.
• Update document repository for CMS certification artifacts.
• Co-manage the Certification Evidence Tracker.
• Manage evidence to meet CMS Certification requirements.
• Compose narratives for ORR and CRR evidence.
• Oversee system demonstrations for CMS Certification.
• Stay updated on CMS certification program and policy updates.
• Provide project schedule activities aligned with contract scope.
• Prepare for PBA CRR, DAP, and PDM ORR prep cycles.
• Ensure quality in managing certification deliverables.
• Coordinate with MITRE and project teams.
• Utilize industry best practices for compliance with CMS standards.

Must Have:

• 3 years of healthcare-related knowledge, ideally in analytics or reporting.
• 3 years of experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, MITAPulse).
• 5 years of project management experience, including managing staff.
• Experience managing multiple priorities/projects.
• 2 years of experience with CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle process.
• 5 years of experience implementing information systems in a client-facing role.
• 2 years of experience with ORR prep cycles.
• 2 years of experience managing evidence for CMS Certification requirements.
• 5 years of exceptional technical writing experience.
