Certification Reviewer

About the Position: This position works under general supervision, conducts in depth reviews of programs, including site visits to facilities to monitor facilities in the delivery of behavioral health services. The incumbent also verifies qualifications and services rendered by behavioral health providers. Additional duties consist of assuring compliance with Oklahoma Administrative Code specific to regulations under the authority of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree,
  • Three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

Special Requirements:

  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license
