What Youll Do:
- Provide anesthesia care to cardiac, pediatric, neonatal, and non-cardiac cases
- Manage a full spectrum of bypass, neonatal, and complex congenital heart surgeries
- Support cardiac catheterization, MRI/CT procedures, and electrophysiology interventions
- Work solo with minimal support staff, demonstrating advanced clinical expertise
- Document case logs and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program growth activities
- Collaborate with the Core Cardiac Team in governance and case planning
What You Need:
- Valid Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant credential
- Willingness to obtain or maintain WA state licensure; IMLC accepted
- Recent (last 12 months) case logs with extensive experience in neonatal and complex congenital cases a bonus
- Experience with pediatric cardiac anesthesia, neonatal surgery, or interventional procedures preferred
- Ability to work independently in a solo model environment
About the Assignment:
This assignment involves providing specialized anesthesia care for a high-acuity pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patient population at a leading facility in Tacoma, WA. The role includes managing complex cardiac surgical procedures, neonatal cases, and interventional cardiology, with support from the CORE Cardiac Team.
