Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician - Property Management
Location: Cuero, TX 77954
Schedule : Monday through friday
We are a fast‑growing property management company committed to providing safe, well‑maintained, and comfortable communities for our residents. We're looking for a skilled and reliable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team and support daily maintenance operations across our residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine and emergency maintenance requests
- Perform repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems (within certification scope)
- Complete unit turns, including painting, minor carpentry, and fixture replacement
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify safety or maintenance issues
- Support senior maintenance staff with larger projects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and property management policies
Qualifications
- Maintenance certification (EPA, HVAC, or equivalent preferred)
- 1+ year of property maintenance or related experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and customer‑service oriented
