Position Highlights

• Onsite coverage at East Rockingham High School
• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week
• Work closely with coaches and athletic staff to coordinate schedules, events, and athlete care
• Must be able to work independently and autonomously while managing daily responsibilities and athletic coverage needs
• Must be flexible to accommodate evening and/or weekend athletic events as needed

Job Description

As a Certified Athletic Trainer you will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required

Certification/Licensure

• Board of Certification (BOC) certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required
• Virginia Athletic Trainer License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
