Certified Boiler & Pressure Systems Technician
Your mission: keep the heart of our operation beating with safe, steady steam. Imagine starting your day with a systems check—gauges in range, water levels verified, controls responsive. Mid-shift, an alarm pings; you isolate the issue, stabilize conditions, and document actions taken. By shift’s end, every log is complete, maintenance is scheduled, and the boiler plant is set up for seamless handoff.
Impact You’ll Make
- Operate and monitor boiler systems plus associated equipment
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Maintain correct pressure, temperature, and water levels
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational or mechanical problems
- Complete detailed daily logs and maintenance records
- Uphold all safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Respond rapidly to system alarms and emergencies
- Contribute to repairs and assist during shutdowns
Qualifications
- Valid Boiler Operator Certification (required)
- Experience operating boilers (preferred)
- Proven mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
