Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Position Summary

The Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs across assigned business units. This role serves as a strategic advisor to leadership and HR partners, ensuring compensation practices align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and market competitiveness.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary compensation subject matter expert for assigned client groups
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, leadership, and Finance on compensation strategy and decision-making
  • Lead and execute compensation projects impacting multiple departments
  • Conduct and analyze salary surveys to ensure market competitiveness
  • Perform job evaluations and job analysis, recommending appropriate salary grades
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, wage and hour laws, and federal/state regulations
  • Audit compensation programs to ensure consistent and equitable application
  • Develop data models, reports, and statistical analyses for leadership
  • Recommend and implement compensation program improvements and new initiatives
  • Maintain and update career path and promotion documentation
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Act as escalation point for complex compensation issues
  • Maintain strict confidentiality

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Compensation and Human Resources
