Seeking a Certified Construction Materials Special Inspector in Hayden, ID or Spokane Valley, WA for full-time work.
Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience.
The role involves performing field inspections and materials testing per WAQTC standards and project specs, monitoring construction activities for compliance, and testing aggregates, asphalt, and in-place densities.
Inspectors will prepare electronic reports, operate and maintain testing equipment, and communicate with teams and contractors.
Travel throughout the region is required.
Required certifications include Aggregate, Asphalt I, Embankment & Base, and In-Place Density, with preferred certifications like ICC and ACI.
Qualifications include a professional attitude, strong time management, comfort with mobile reporting, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
