Seeking a Certified Construction Materials Special Inspector for full-time work in Hayden, ID or Spokane Valley, WA. This field-based role involves performing construction materials testing and inspections per WAQTC procedures and project specs, focusing on quality, safety, and compliance.
- Inspect and test aggregates, asphalt, base materials, and in-place densities.
- Prepare electronic reports, operate and maintain testing equipment, and ensure adherence to standards.
- Travel regionally to support onsite activities and communicate professionally with teams.
Required certifications: Aggregate, Asphalt I, Embankment & Base, In-Place Density.
Preferred certifications: ACI Field Testing Technician, Nuclear Gauge Safety, ICC Certifications.
- Strong attention to detail, customer service mindset, and ability to lift and maneuver materials.
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and proficiency with mobile devices.
