Certified Crane Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Crane Operator (NCCCO) to join our team in Montgomery, AL, 36117. Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads in accordance with project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with ground crew and other team members to coordinate lifts.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and any maintenance performed.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior operators and crew members.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on crane equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator Certification (NCCCO or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating various types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower, overhead).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in crane operation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the job.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in heavy machinery operation is a plus.
