Seeking Polished Dental Assistant
We are a progressive, independently owned, and high-end private prosthodontist practice built on excellence. Our fee-for-service, non-insurance model allows us to remain dedicated to providing exceptional care. We have an opening for a full time dental assistant to join our practice. We offer a team work atmosphere, monthly achievable bonuses, a four-day work week, matching 401K, personal career development and competitive pay. We ask that only those with a minimum of 5 years experience in dental field apply. We are an EOE.
Primary Job Duties Include:
- Assist with Dental treatments as instructed
- Follow office policies and systems
- Take and record dental histories and patient records
- Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment, manage supplies
- Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
- Communicate with patients in a knowledgeable & caring manner
- Front Office Support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files, as needed
- Being Accountable and Reliable
Ideal Candidate:
- Have at least5 years experience as a dental assistant
- A person that still has the desire to develop and excel as a dental assistant
- Must be personable and like to work with people
- Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
- Strong Organizational skills – you see what needs to be done and do it.
- Must be articulate and service-oriented
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
- Reliable, accountable and prompt; available for at least 35 hours per week
- Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others.
- Does well under pressure and fast pace work environment
- Experience with temporary fabrication, impression taken and has x-ray certification.
