Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and caring Certified Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist chairside during exams, procedures, and treatments, anticipating next steps to keep appointments moving efficiently
Prepare and sterilize instruments, trays, and treatment rooms between patients
Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral scans/images
Prepare materials for restorations, crowns, or other procedures
Prepare lab cases /receive lab cases
Monitor and restock dental supplies and inventory
Maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Operate digital imaging, intraoral cameras, and CAD/CAM systems (e.g., milling) as applicable
Navigate practice management software (e.g., Dentrix) to update charts and treatment notes in real time
Support use of other in-office tech (digital scanners, patient education software, etc.)
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
Previous experience as a dental assistant
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
