Certified Dietary Manager / Dietary Director

Pay Range: $78,000 - $78,500 annually, based on experience
Hanford Post Acute is seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and dependable Certified Dietary Manager / Dietary Director to lead our dietary department. This position oversees meal planning, food preparation, service delivery, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and overall department operations.
The ideal candidate is resident-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious, appetizing meals that meet individual needs, physician orders, approved menus, and regulatory standards.
General Purpose
The Dietary Director oversees all aspects of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, and service delivery. This role ensures that meals are safe, nutritious, and tailored to meet each resident's individual needs in accordance with physician orders, approved menus, and regulatory standards. The Dietary Director manages staff, maintains budget compliance, and coordinates with other departments to support resident well-being and satisfaction.

Physical Demands
The essential functions of this position require frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling. The employee may occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform job duties. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling are required. Visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
