Certified Field Phlebotomy Specialist

Picture a workday where your first stop is a patient’s living room on the north side of Tulsa, your second is a senior community across town, and your third is a rehabilitation facility. You keep the day moving, collect clean specimens, document precisely, and hand off to the lab so clinicians get the answers they need—fast. That’s a typical shift with Express Healthcare.

Role Snapshot

• Location: Tulsa, OK and surrounding service areas
• Schedule: PRN and long-term opportunities; day or night; Monday–Sunday
• Compensation: $20–$21 per hour (includes drive time) + $0.37/mile reimbursement

What You’ll Do

• Drive to assigned homes and facilities within your route to collect high-quality specimens.
• Confirm patient identity and apply accurate labeling following established protocols.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients across the lifespan.
• Process, package, and ready specimens for courier transport to designated laboratories.
• Complete all documentation: requisitions, collection logs, and electronic records.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and internal policy standards at every step.
• Track and maintain supply inventory; alert leadership when restocking is needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, facility teams, and lab personnel.
• Keep to the schedule; report delays, cancellations, and any patient issues quickly.
• Clean and organize your equipment and materials between visits.
• Support additional tasks as assigned.

What You Bring

• Active Phlebotomy Certification
• At least 1 year of experience; comfortable with 25–30 draws per day
• Reliable personal transportation
• Flexible availability
• Current BLS
• Current TB
