Certified Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Brunswick, OH. If you have experience operating forklifts and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!

This opportunity is with a local company supporting logistics and manufacturing operations. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for safely handling materials by operating tow motors and forklifts to move, locate, and stack goods efficiently. Your role is vital in ensuring a smooth workflow while maintaining safety standards and supporting overall production.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (1st Shift)

Pay:
$19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate tow motors and other material handling equipment to transport products, raw materials, and finished goods
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning, labeling, and tracking materials
  • Move products from the floor to the 5th level of upper racking effectively
  • Operate Tow Motor – Bobcat model 20T-7 and standup Raymond

Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid tow motor/forklift certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
  • Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory management

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems
  • Forklift and tow motor operation in industrial settings

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior forklift operation experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Other Requirements:
  • Must work on-site at our Brunswick, OH location
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
