Certified Home Health Aide (Chha) - Caregiver - ALL Shifts

Responsibilities:

Use your knowledge and compassion to provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship.

Perform duties as assigned on the client’s Plan of Care.

Engage and assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Look for changes in the client's day and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their personal Plan of Care.

Encourage client participation in community programs, events, and activities.

Participate in in-service and continuing education programs, staff meetings, and client conferences as requested.

Complete required documentation of services delivered and submit to office in a timely manner according to policy.

Reports to: The Registered Nurse Field Supervisor

Compensation:

Salary range: USD $21.00 /Hr.

Requirements

Qualifications:

You have a positive attitude and love working with people!

You have a high school diploma or equivalent.

An active State of New Jersey certification as a CHHA.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks:

• • Criminal Background Investigation,
  • Motor Vehicle Driving Record,
  • Professional and Personal Reference Checks

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Must be able to fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality.
• Must satisfactorily complete Happier at Home training and orientation program.
• Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to Happier at Home policies and procedures, be able to function in the home setting with minimal direct supervision, and maintain satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.
