Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Description of the role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team at Preferred Care at Home of Monmouth and Ocean County. As a CHHA, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients by providing exceptional care in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide basic health care services, including monitoring vital signs and medication reminders
• Help clients with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Requirements:

• Valid CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
