Job Posting: Home Health Aide (HHA)

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll provide essential personal care and emotional support to patients, helping them maintain their dignity and comfort in their own living environment. You’ll work under the guidance of a registered nurse or therapist to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality care.
What You’ll Do:
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and skin care.
- Health Monitoring: Report any significant changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising nurse.
- Daily Support: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding, and help with light housekeeping and laundry to keep the patient’s area tidy.
- Mobility: Assist with walking, exercise, and range-of-motion movements as outlined in the care plan.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations made during each visit.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified: Must meet state training and competency requirements (CMS §484.80) or be a CHHA in good standing on the state registry.
- Registered: Proof of registration on the Home Care Aide Registry (DSS/HCSB) is preferred.
- Prepared: Current CPR certification is required.
- Mobile: Must be a licensed driver with a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Personal Attributes: You are at least 18 years old, empathetic, patient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. You have a knack for following instructions and maintaining a professional demeanor.
