Job Overview
We are immediately seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, long-term care needs, or those requiring hospice care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients.


Responsibilities


  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Clean and maintain the client’s living space, including laundry and general housekeeping tasks.
  • Lift and transfer clients safely as needed while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
  • Monitor and record vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients with mobility and provide physical support during activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients at all times.
Qualifications


  • Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide is required.
