Certified Technician Direct Hire

Bear Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity in Aumsville, OR.

This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with experience in HVAC, construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, or other skilled trades. The Technician will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining modular buildings and related equipment while ensuring quality workmanship and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment of modular buildings and equipment
  • Complete carpentry, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks
  • Inspect units and determine repair scope and material requirements
  • Perform HVAC inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Operate forklifts and move units throughout the yard as needed
  • Assist with inventory, materials, and equipment management
  • Complete service work in both shop and field environments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • HVAC
    • Carpentry
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Welding
    • General Construction or Maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical labor throughout the day
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
