Group exercise instructors inspire, motivate, and create and deliver effective and safe group exercise classes in a professional and friendly atmosphere for class participants with varying fitness levels. Openings include general group exercise and fitness classes, as well as specialty class formats (i.e., indoor cycle, cardio dance, strength/conditioning).
Salary Range: $25-30 per hour, $2,600 – $4,700 per year.
Requirements: Accredited group exercise/fitness instructor certification (i.e., AFAA, ACE, ACSM, Schwinn); group exercise instruction experience; demonstration of ability to teach in a group setting by passing an audition; Adult CPR & AED certification.
