Are you a certified phlebotomist looking for flexibility and an opportunity to make a difference? Join Orlando Health as a Lab Phlebotomist, Certified - PRN and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through accurate specimen collection and outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do
- Perform blood specimen collection and phlebotomy procedures
- Insert peripheral IVs
- Coordinate specimen collection for inpatient and outpatient settings
- Assist with patient registration and billing requirements
- Process specimens and maintain laboratory supplies
- Perform bedside testing, including glucose testing
- Support outreach phlebotomy services
- Train staff and maintain quality standards
- Build positive relationships with patients, providers, and team members
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR Certification
- Current Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP, NPA, ASPT, or equivalent accredited program)
- Ability to work flexible hours and various shifts
