About the Role:
Premiere Healthcare in Whittier, CA is looking for a passionate and skilled Certified Massage Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Perform therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs and health goals
- Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality, and range of motion prior to treatment
- Develop and maintain personalized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare providers
- Apply techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy
- Document patient progress, session notes, and treatment outcomes accurately
- Educate patients on self-care techniques, stretching, and injury prevention
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
Requirements:
- Valid California Massage Therapy Certificate (CAMTC)
- Proven experience in therapeutic, clinical, or medical massage settings preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
