**Medical Assistant - Behavioral Health (Young Men)** **Location:** Aberdeen, WA **Start Date:** June 15, 2026 **Schedule:** Sunday-Wednesday, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM (40 hours/week) **Pay:** $30/hour (local) **Weekly Gross:** $1,200 We are currently hiring a Medical Assistant to support a behavioral treatment center serving young men in Aberdeen, WA. This is a full-time contract role with a consistent Sunday-Wednesday schedule and the potential for extension. **Position Overview** As a Medical Assistant, you will support clinical operations and help ensure safe, high-quality care within a behavioral health setting. This role is a strong fit for candidates who are comfortable working with adolescent populations and thrive in a structured, team-oriented environment. **Responsibilities** + Assist providers with basic clinical tasks and patient care + Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other clinical data + Prepare patients for exams and procedures + Support medication management and documentation + Maintain accurate and timely medical records + Follow all clinical and safety protocols + Collaborate with nursing and behavioral health staff **Requirements** + Active Washington State Medical Assistant certification (required) + Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting + AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Comfortable working in a behavioral health environment with young men + Strong communication and organizational skills **Benefits** + Weekly pay + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + 401(k) retirement plan + Opportunity for contract extension + Supportive team environment Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
