Certified Medical Assistant - Brays Oaks

Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for qualified Medical Assistant to work in Brays Oaks for a large Healthcare Organization.

Medical Assistant Job Details: 
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 7:00pm W/ rotating weekends 9:00am - 5:00pm
Location: 12611 S Gessner Rd A, Houston, TX 77071
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hourly + (Based on experience)
Temporary to hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs laboratory tests, EKGs, suture/staple removals, dressing changes among other patient care procedures.
• Collect and chart vitals, patient history, and other screening.
• Authorize prescription refills.
• Instruct patients regarding medications and diet. 
• Collect co-payments, reconcile charges and balances.
• Communicate unexpected wait times to patients.
• Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Perform insurance verifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be certified
• 2+ years medical assistant experience required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Athena experience preferred.
