Certified Medical Assistant - Cambridge MA

Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational healthcare / primary care organization based out of Cambridge, MA.

 

·         Start date: 6-15

·         Schedule: (40 hours a week) Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm

·         Pay: $26 -$30 an hour

·         Contract length: 5 weeks with potential to hire

·         Benefits: Weekly pay / Medical / Dental / Vision

Job Description:

·      Position is a dual CMA/Admin Assistant full-time position for a small Primary Care clinic in Cambridge, MA with multiple levels of service. 

·      Primary job role is managing the front desk, check ins/outs and communicating patient arrivals and information to providers. 

·      Also must be able to perform clinical tasks including: lab draws, rooming patients, and performing POC testing. 




We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·         Must have at least 3 years of CMA experience in a primary care, urgent care or clinic setting.

·         Must be familiar with Epic EMR.

·         Must have experience with front and back office duties including lab draws, rooming patients, and performing POC testing. 

·         CMA Certification is required.

·         BLS or CPR certification required.
