We are looking to add an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to our Baptist Heart Specialists office located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a Full-Time, Days opportunity Monday through Friday.
The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs.
Certified Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Provides medical assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
