Immediate Certified Medical Assistant contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL.
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Work Schedule:
- 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- 40 hours per week
Contract Details:
- Contract assignment through 9/30/2026 (possible extension)
- Temp to perm opportunity
Job Details:
- MA to work front and back office, DOT/Non DOT Urine Drug testing and breath alcohol testing.
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
- Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
- Inventories medical supplies and materials, notification to team when supplies run low
- Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
- Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Epic experience preferred
- Occupational Health, Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience preferred
- Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
