Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Immediate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in Northbrook, IL.

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Work Schedule:

• 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)
• 9:00am - 6:00pm (Wednedsay)
• 40 hours per week

Contract Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 11/01/26 (possible extension)

• This clinic has Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Chiropractic, and Physical Therapy.
• Collects patient history, physical assessment, vital signs and other medical tests.
• Blood draws
• Collaborates with Physician to arrange for further medical treatment, when needed.
• Assist with certain administrative tasks and provide assistance at the front desk
• Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including filing and pulling charts.

Qualifications:

• Valid CMA Certification
• Must be comfortable with front desk duties, answering the phones and scheduling appointments.
• Strong Phlebotomy experience required
• Proficient in POCT Testing and EKG's
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
