Our established Concierge Internal Medicine Practice in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team.
Qualifications
Required:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Internal Medicine practice
Excellent phlebotomy skills
Exceptional teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
Proficiency with computer systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) - AthenaHealth is a plus!
Ability to multitask and independently manage daily responsibilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
Experience with AthenaHealth EHR
Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Venipuncture
Performing EKGs
Administering vaccines and injections
Recording patient vital signs
Scanning and uploading documents into the EHR system
Managing incoming patient messages
Scheduling patient appointments
Assisting with patient flow and clinical operations
Performing miscellaneous front-office and back-office duties as needed
