Certified Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in  Cypress, TX 77433. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Location:  Cypress, TX 77433
• Job Type: 3+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion )
• Schedule: - Monday-Friday 4 10 hour rotating day off
• Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Specific Duties:

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document findings in the EMR.
• Record medical history, chief complaints, and update patient health information.
• Assist physicians and providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and injections using proper aseptic techniques.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection; maintain specimen logs.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant
• Current BLS certification
•  Epic experience 
• Bilingual Preferred
