Certified Medical Assistant - Eagan, MN

Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational / primary care healthcare organization based out of Eagan, MN.




·      Start date: 07-13

·      Contract length: 10 weeks

·      Pay rate range: $23 - $26 an hour

·      Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm / Friday: 7 am - 11 am (40 hours guaranteed)

·      Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay




JOB DETAILS:

·      CMA needed for primary care clinic.

·      Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts

·      Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination

·      Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests

·      Gives injections or treatments, biometric screening, POC testing, and performs routine laboratory tests

·      Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients

·      Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk

 

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·      Must have at least 3 years of CMA experience in a primary care, urgent care or occupational health environment.

·      Seeking someone that has strong customer service skills, strong phlebotomy skills and experience with front and back office duties.

·      Must be proficient in using Epic EMR.  

·      CMA Certification is required.
