Direct Patient care:

This position delivers primary care in an ambulatory heath setting, as part of a primary care team.

• Verify patient information, obtain vitals & document in EMR
• Interact with patient to obtain medical history & document in EMR
• Ensure all reports/labs are available
• Maintain specimens as ordered by the Provider
• Perform EKGs as ordered by the Provider
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment
• Record keeping
• Perform control checks for lab equipment
• Admin duties as directed \u2013 process phone messages/scanning
• Assist with team coverage through the organization as needed/requested

Qualifications/Skills:

Current Medical Assistant Certification (Required)

Current Basic Life Support (Required)

Prefer experience in ambulatory care setting, preferred

Starting Salary Range: $13.20 \u2013 $18.27 per hour; up to 3% annual increases
