We are seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, brings a positive and upbeat attitude to the workplace, and values being a dependable team player. Our practice is a small, privately owned office experiencing rapid growth, so we are looking for a candidate who is adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and embraces change with professionalism and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and document patient medical history
  • Communicate patient information and updates to the provider
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain patient records
  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls
  • Assist with medication administration, including injections
  • Assist providers during procedures
  • Obtain specimen samples as directed
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Maintain medical equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting issues, monitoring supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs when needed
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following established standards, procedures, and legal regulations
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 2 years of clinical or medical experience highly preferred
  • Certification preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
