Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports physicians and clinical staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties within the assigned clinic or specialty practice. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while ensuring smooth daily operations of the clinic.

Education High school diploma or equivalent - Required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent - Required License Active CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification - Required

Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire

Required Skills • Strong critical thinking and sound judgment • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Effective communication and documentation skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Commitment to patient-centered care

Essential Functions Assist physicians and nurses with patient assessments and treatments Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team Accurately document patient care and clinical information in the medical record Prepare and maintain examination rooms Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting, and reordering Perform administrative and clerical duties as assigned, including scheduling, patient registration, data entry, and front-desk support
