NOW HIRING: Certified Medical Assistant – Flu Clinic
Pay: $27.73/hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 20 Hours/Week (2–3 Days)
Contract: 6-Months
Start Date: September 14, 2026
A-Line Staffing is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a seasonal flu clinic in Arcadia, CA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant looking to earn additional income during the busy vaccination season.
Schedule Details:
- Part-time: 20 hours per week / 2–3 days per week (Fri-Mon are busiest days in clinic)
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM; Saturday: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM; Sunday: 9:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Must be available every other weekend and some major holidays
- Training/Orientation: First 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Candidates must be able to attend the full two-week training schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer vaccines and provide patients with appropriate vaccine education.
- Room patients, obtain medical histories, collect vital signs, and prepare patients for the provider.
- Collect specimens and assist with basic point-of-care testing.
- Check patients in, answer questions, manage patient flow, and help maintain an efficient clinic experience.
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain clinical supplies, exam rooms, and infection-control and safety standards.

Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification required.
- Must be comfortable and experienced with vaccine administration/injections.
- Experience obtaining vital signs, patient histories, and specimens.
- Strong patient-service, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.
- Ability to use electronic medical records and other computer systems.
