Certified Medical Assistant – Outpatient Clinic at Ranken Jordan

Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

In this role at Ranken Jordan, you’ll play an important role in making that happen.  The Medical Assistant that supports our outpatient clinic is every patient and family’s first smile and welcome so your happiness, energy, and positivity will be maximized in this position.

You will be the familiar, reassuring presence for patients and families while helping our clinical team deliver exceptional care. This role is approximately 75% administrative/computer-based, with hands-on clinical support throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and families and guide them through their visit.

1. Manage registration, scheduling, insurance authorizations, payments, and check-out.

1. Answer patient calls and help connect families with the right member of the care team.
2. Function as the liaison between patients and clinicians; communicating questions, answers, and follow up items.

1. Room patients, obtain vitals, and update medications, allergies, and other clinical information.

1. Keep patient records accurate and clinic operations moving smoothly.

1. Partner with nurses and clinicians to create a positive, compassionate experience for every family.

What You Bring

• Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program.

1. CMA or RMA certification.

1. 1–2 years of pediatric clinic experience required.

1. Experience with electronic medical records.

1. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize patient urgency, and multi-tasking, while maintaining a calm, reassuring, and smooth operating clinic.
