Certified Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Golden Valley, MN 55427. It’s a Direct Hire Role.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care, treatment, and routine clinical procedures.
• Perform patient rooming, intake, and standard rooming processes.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Conduct clinic laboratory tests and support other diagnostic procedures.
• Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
• Perform X-ray duties, if qualified and assigned.
• Support front desk operations, including patient check-in.
• Maintain and restock clinical supplies.
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and clinical updates to the healthcare team.
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

 Required:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ Years of relevant experience.
• Medical Assistant Diploma and certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Shift schedule: 40 Hours per week
Monday: Golden Valley | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Tuesday: Golden Valley | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday: Golden Valley | 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Thursday: Brooklyn Park | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: Golden Valley | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $22.23 - $27.37/hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
