The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputed hospital in Helena, MT and we’re looking for a compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a growing healthcare team. What You’ll Do
As a CMA, you’ll play an essential role in keeping both patient care and daily operations running smoothly by:
- Welcoming patients and preparing them for exams and procedures
- Recording vital signs, medical histories, and patient information accurately
- Assisting providers with clinical procedures, including injections, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Scheduling appointments, managing phone calls and supporting patients with questions and follow-up care
- Coordinating prescription refills and prior authorizations with pharmacies and insurance providers
- Ensuring exam rooms are clean, organized, stocked, properly equipped and ready for patient care
- Upholding patient confidentiality and following all healthcare compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems preferred
- A positive attitude and patient-first mindset
