Certified Medical Assistant – Contract Position (Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week)
Overview
This full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract role provides the opportunity to support essential patient care activities in a clinical setting. The CMA will assist with vaccinations, EKGs, patient rooming, and lab specimen collection/processing. This position follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and includes a virtual interview as part of the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for scheduled appointments
- Administer vaccines following clinical guidelines
- Obtain and record EKGs as needed
- Collect, label, and process lab specimens using a centrifuge
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – active and valid
- Phlebotomy experience (2+ years)
- Ability to perform EKGs and administer vaccines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Schedule & Shift Details
- Contract role – 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Daytime, onsite clinical setting
