Certified Medical Assistant – Contract Position (Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week)
Overview
This full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract role provides the opportunity to support essential patient care activities in a clinical setting. The CMA will assist with vaccinations, EKGs, patient rooming, and lab specimen collection/processing. This position follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and includes a virtual interview as part of the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
Room patients and prepare them for scheduled appointments
Administer vaccines following clinical guidelines
Obtain and record EKGs as needed
Collect, label, and process lab specimens using a centrifuge
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – active and valid
Phlebotomy experience (2+ years)
Ability to perform EKGs and administer vaccines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
