Full-Time: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
We are seeking an experienced, professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy and well-established specialty medical practice. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent patient interaction abilities, and hands-on experience using Athena EMR.
This position plays a critical role in supporting physicians and delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
Accurately document patient information in Athena EMR
Enter physician orders and referral information
Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Athena EMR experience required
High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer and documentation skills
Excellent communication and patient service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
Registry certification preferred
Women's Health, OB/GYN, or specialty clinic experience preferred
Experience with insurance authorizations and referrals
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
