Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice Primary Care team in Monroe, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the practice and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Prepare patients for exams and explain treatment procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage clinical documentation.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans and medications.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program.
• Experience in Family Practice and Primary Care settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.
