Certified Medical Assistant - New Orleans, LA

Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational / primary care healthcare organization based out of New Orleans, LA .

 

Medical Assistant needed for a busy Primary Care clinic. Needs to be comfortable with front desk & appointment scheduling/answering phones/rooming/phlebotomy/EKG/Immunizations. Epic EMR experience preferred. 




·      Start date: ASAP

·      Contract length: 18 weeks

·      Pay rate range; $24 - $26 an hour

·      Schedule: Mon & Tues 8 am – 4 pm / Wed 8 am – 6 pm / Thurs & Fri 8 am – 3 pm

·      Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay




We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·      3 years of CMA experience in a primary care or clinic environment preferred.

·      Must have strong phlebotomy experience.

·      Must have experience rooming patients, drawing labs, injections, and EKG.

·      CMA and BLS or CPR Certification required.

·      Epic EMR preferred.
