Description

Job Title: Medical Assistant

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide routine clinical support under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. The Medical Assistant will assist with patient care, prepare examination rooms, obtain vital signs, perform basic clinical procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and help ensure efficient daily clinic operations while delivering exceptional patient care.

### Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED required
* Medical Assistant certification from an accredited institution required
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
* Audiometry and vision screening certification preferred
* Phlebotomy certification preferred
* Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills

### Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient check-in
* Obtain and document patient vital signs and report significant findings
* Perform routine clinical support duties under the supervision of licensed providers
* Conduct audiometry and vision screening as needed
* Maintain patient records, recall systems, and clinical documentation
* Coordinate referrals, laboratory testing, and follow-up care
* Ensure examination rooms and clinical equipment are clean and properly stocked
* Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality
* Perform other duties as assigned
