Certified Medical Assistant (Outpatient) – Contract (17 Weeks)

Pay: $587 – $675/week

Schedule

• Day Shift

• 40 hours/week

• 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide routine, non-invasive clinical support under supervision of licensed provider

• Prepare exam rooms and check in patients

• Obtain vital signs and report abnormalities

• Maintain patient recall systems (labs, referrals, follow-ups)

• Perform basic testing (audiometry, vision screening)

• Support clinic workflow and patient care operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Active Medical Assistant Certification (one of the following required):

  • CMA, CCMA, NCCT, NHA-CMA, NRCMA, RMA, MA, or MA-AMT

• Basic Life Support (BLS / HS-BLS / RQI BLS) certification (required)

• Ability to perform core MA duties (exam room setup, patient intake, vitals, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification

• Audiometry and vision training (or CHDP certificate)

• Bilingual abilities
