Novant Health Palliative Care team is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. - Manage an average daily caseload of 4–5 patients
Take and document vital signs during visits
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team
Provide coverage for team members’ PTO as needed
Support clinic or team needs when no patient appointments are scheduled

Education: High school diploma.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, that includes an externship in a medical office clinical setting, required. Curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. (Certificate must be obtained within six months of hire).
Certifications accepted:
Experience: Previous work in a medical setting preferred.
