WhatYou'llDoIn this role, you will:Prepare patients for exams and procedures while maintaining a caring, professional environmentTake and record vital signs and other clinical measurementsPerform basic diagnostic tests and collect specimens (blood draw, urine collection, swabs, etc.)Administer medications and injections as directed by a providerAssist with exams, procedures, and medical treatmentsDocument all care and patient interactions accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Support referral processing, care coordination, and follow-up documentationMaintain exam rooms, equipment, and inventory, ensuring cleanliness and readinessSupport compliance with CLIA, OSHA, safety, and infection-control standardsAssist with care gap closure, UDS/HEDIS documentation, and quality measuresHelp ensure timely and efficient patient flow throughout the clinic What Success Looks LikeYou will thrive in this role if you are: Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing in a busy clinical environment Comfortable performing clinical support tasks with confidence and accuracy Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional in all interactions Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills A team player who contributes to a positive and supportive clinic culture Required Skills & CompetenciesPatient preparation, vitals, injection administration, phlebotomy, and specimen handlingKnowledge of basic lab procedures and diagnostic supportProficiency with EHR systems and medical softwareAbility to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA complianceStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to remain calm, organized, and flexible in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor and strong patient-education approach Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferredCertification required(CMA, RMA, or equivalent)Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred - new graduates welcome to apply Physical RequirementsThis role requires:Standing and walking for extended periods during the clinic dayOccasionallifting upto 25-30 lbs.
