**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination. Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork. + Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider. + Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures. + Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem. + May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. + Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration. + May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKG's. Non Certified MA: $19.25 - 26.78 (encouraged to apply) Certified MA: $22.51-31.79 **Job Requirements** **Required** + Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or + Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, or + Certified Medical Assistant NHA, or + National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, or + National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, or + Registered Medical Assistant AMT, or + Registered Medical Assistant, or + Cert Med Asst - MMCI, + AHA Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 days of hire **Preferred** + High School Graduate General Studies + High School GED General Studies + Medical Assistant experience **Where You'll Work** CHI St. Anthony Hospital is a 25 bed, licensed for 49, faith-based, acute care, level four trauma, critical access hospital and healthcare campus serving the Pendleton, Oregon area for more than 100 years.
