Job Summary

• 95% lap support
• Full-time / 40 hours a week
• Monday through Friday
• Shift Time: 8am to 4:30pm
• No float required
• Onsite at Lorton practice

Overview

The Certified Medical Assistant- Phlebotomy and Lab Services performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience

• Less than a year of related experience required
• Phlebotomy experience highly preferred

Education

• High School Diploma OR equivalency required

Active Certification

Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Registered Medical Assistant
•  Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
•  Certified EMT (EMT-B)

BLS within 90 days of hire date

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
